I already registered and I want to add a companion.

Register yourself again, this time select category "NOT ATTENDING", use the space at the bottom the add a companion.


Do chapter educational meetings provide CPE credits?

Yes, we are registered with the State of Illinois, Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation. We are a Registered Public Accountant Continuing Professional Education Sponsor, License No 158.000690. The official status of this license can be verified at www.idfpr.com.


As a non member do I have to enter all my contact information every time I register for an event?

No, on the registration screen there is an option: "Have you previously registered for an event or are you on your mail list? "Click Here To Search", all the information you previously entered will be all entered and ready to go.


I check chapter events online, how can I stop the E Mail notices?

Log into the chapter website (you are already here), select  "PROFILE" at the top right, select contact information, under E Mail address is an option to stop notices, uncheck the option.


Can a Non Member register for a CFMA event online?

Yes, we encourage members and non members to register online.

 

If I register online can I still Pay at the Event?

All chapter events require advance payments. Contact the chapter administrator if you need a make other arrangements.630-269-9411 or rich@richblackwell.com

 

Can I register a companion (guest) when I register online?

Yes, at the bottom of the registration page is an option to add companions. If the companion is also a CFMA member they should complete their own registration, however, if the companion is not a CFMA member then just add them with the option located at the bottom of the registration page. Companions to members receive the member registration rate.

 

Why can't I log in and get the member rate for events? My company belongs to CFMA.

CFMA is a Professional Association, not a trade association. In a Professional Association individuals are members, not companies. If your company paid for your CFMA membership you are the member, even if you change companies. If you are not a member, even though your company paid for someone else to belong, then you will pay the non member rate.

 


Online Registration Details

 

CFMA Members and Non Members can register for CFMA meetings and events through our web site www.chicagocfma.org, Select  Event Calendar.

 

 

Non Member Registration

 

Non Member – if you are not a CFMA member you can still access the Event Calendar on the menu on the left side of the page.

 

Select Event Calendar – the next screen will be all  CFMA events that are scheduled.

 

Select the event you are interested in – that will take you to a registration page for non members. Please Note: At the bottom of the screen is an input form to register a companion(s) or guest(s).

 

Select NEXT: You will now enter the Event Registration Summary Screen. That screen provides your registration information, date of event and registration fee.

 

 Select Complete Registration: If you selected Pay at the Event you will be returned to the Event View screen, you will receive an E Mail confirmation and a notice will be sent to CFMA that you have registered. However, most of our events require that you pay in advance. If you select Pay in Advance you will be taken to a Make Payment screen. That screen will confirm your registration, the event and the fee. At the bottom of the screen Select Payment Method . You will have two choices, Pay by Credit Card or Pay by Invoice, after your selection follow the prompts.

 

 

CFMA Member Registration

 

Member – select Member Login on the left side of the screen. If you forgot your login follow the instruction on the screen and you will receive a password within minutes.

 

Select Event Calendar – the next screen will be the all the CFMA events that are scheduled.

 

Select the event you are interested in – that will take you to a registration page for members. Please Note: At the bottom of the screen is an input form to register a companion(s) or guest(s).

 

Select NEXT: You will now enter the Event Registration Summary Screen. That screen provides your registration information, date of event and registration fee. Please note: The Payment Information at the bottom of the screen gives you a choice to Pay in Advance or Pay at the event.
